Emergency Information

Medical Emergency: Call 911 immediately
In cases of possible alcohol or drug overdose, call 911 immediately.

Serious medical repercussions or death are much worse than a hospital bill. It is free for an ambulance to come check someone out and see if they are okay. Let the medical professionals make the educated decision about whether to transport someone to the hospital.

(805) 893-4411 UCSB Counseling Services
Counseling and consultation services are available on weekends, during University holidays and closures and daily between 4:30pm and 8:00am.

Callers will be given the option to speak with a counselor who will provide immediate counseling or other necessary information. Appropriate follow up will be provided by UCSB staff (Counseling Services or Student Health Service).
