Gauchos For Recovery

Is a new student group whose goal is to connect and support UCSB students in recovery from addictions in order to enhance their sobriety and their UCSB experience.

Please join us for one of our kick-off meetings:

Tuesday, January 24th at 12 PM

Thursday, January 26th at 6 PM

Mission

The UCSB Alcohol & Drug Program strives to create a safe, healthy, and learning-conducive environment through the promotion of healthy choices concerning the use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. The program emphasizes the elimination of harmful use, high-risk behavior and related violence.


Appointments

There are two ways to make an appointment with one of our alcohol and drug counselors:
(1) Schedule an appointment online.
(2) Call (805) 893-3371 and speak with the receptionist.
Online appointments can only be made for your initial visit. Follow-up appointments can be made with your counselor directly or over the phone.


Need to take CASE?

If you were written up in the Residence Halls or were arrested/cited for an alcohol or drug related offense, CASE will fulfill your educational requirement. You must attend an intake session within one week to enroll in the CASE Program.
Intake sessions are held Monday-Thursday from 2:00-2:45pm at Embarcadero Hall.
